We enjoyed staying at the Lansdown Grove Hotel for 3 nights the staff were helpful and friendly. The restaurant was delightful and the food was delicious especially the breakfast. The room cleaning was exceptional and we were pleased that the hotel had a library/reading room which was comfortable and cosy to read some novels. The hotel is situated on a steep hill which made walking to the town more difficult but the views are breathtaking. Parking was a bit limited but was located close to the hotel. Our only complaint was the temperature of the room at night felt too hot so I would recommend keeping windows open and using the desk fan provided.

I booked with Booking.com a single room, what a wonderful surprise to be upgraded to a double room with city view!! There was a problem with the kettle leaking which turned off power but Olivia was fantastic, arranging for Maintenance to fix it 1st job of day, during the time I was having breakfast the problem was sorted, New kettle & TV working!! Thanks Olivia! So helpful & friendly, lovely staff, am Booking again for Christmas markets, Olivia said I could request same room, lovely!! What's not to love? Perfect!!

Had a really enjoyable few days at the Lansdown Grove Hotel. The staff are all really friendly and welcoming and couldn't ask for any more. The breakfast was Very good and the cold buffet was free if you ordered from the Hot menu which made it good value for money. The location of the Hotel is good, just a 10 to 15 minute walk downhill to the Centre of Bath but the walk back up the Hill was tiring and could be tricky for some less able.

Beautiful hotel with exceptional staff service who were courteous friendly and polite. Our room was small but perfectly clean and a very comfortable bed with tea coffee and biscuits. Delicious choice of breakfast with excellent service. Hotel slightly out of the main town but suited us well as we were visiting our son who lives nearby. It’s a lovely walk into town from Lansdown passing by the Royal Crescent and other parts of the town.

Location - Close to Bath centre, although a 15-20 minute walk up a steep hill. The staff did warn us about this & suggested they could arrange a taxi back up the hill if we required one. Food - We had breakfast there both mornings, tasty & filling. They were happy to swap items that were on the menu but we didn't want, for alternatives that we did. Staff - Everyone we encountered was friendly & helpful, just what we wanted.
